Who We Are

International Faculty Advising (IFA) facilitates Penn State work authorization sponsorship for eligible international academic employees in both temporary, non-tenure-line positions and permanent, tenure-line positions. Our office stays current with all relevant U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations and policies and provides education to the Penn State community to foster understanding, compliance, and maintenance of immigration status.
