Funding for International or Multicultural Student Organizations

The purpose of Global Funding is to carry out Penn State Global’s strategic goals of creating a global environment at Penn State. Imperatives to this initiative are global citizenship and global leadership, both of which require student engagement and a strong commitment from student organizations. 

This funding is available to University Park student organizations only. Please contact the Penn State Global staff on your campus for inquires about funding.

All International or multicultural student organizations must be recognized by the Student Activities Office in the HUB to apply for funding. Faculty, staff, and community organizations are also eligible for funding from Penn State Global.
Funding from Penn State Global is intended for ON-CAMPUS EVENTS that are accessible to all Penn State community.
Global Engagement will only consider events that are open to at least ALL PENN STATE UNIVERSITY PARK STUDENTS.
International or multicultural student organizations should be aware of the maximum request amount, which is set in the range of $1,000 - $2,000 PER ACADEMIC YEAR. This request amount is regulated to provide valuable funding to a large number of international or multicultural student organizations.
