About the Program

Explore the potential of Experiential Digital Global Engagement (EDGE) by adapting an existing syllabus to incorporate EDGE learning objectives, activities, and assignments. Throughout the program, you'll develop an EDGE Action Plan and learn how to design projects that foster meaningful cross-cultural engagement, collaborative problem-solving, and intercultural learning. You'll also consider key factors such as cultural diversity, technology, and disciplinary relevance.

This endorsement is offered in the Teaching & Outreach domain.

Upon completion, you will receive:

a digital badge

a certificate

a congratulatory email

The endorsement will also automatically populate in your Faculty Activity Report under the Teaching & Outreach domain.

Program dates for Fall 2026: September 21 - December 4, 2026

Participation is limited to the first 10 applicants.

Registration for Fall 2026 closes Sunday, September 21, 2026, or when the enrollment cap is reached, whichever comes first.

Requirements:

Attend three (3) synchronous sessions (see dates below)

Meet with Dr. Laura Cruz to explore the EDGE Research Toolkit on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 12:15pm-1:15pm or by individual consultation

Submit an EDGE Action Plan

Submit the program evaluation at the end of the program
