On-Campus Cost Comparable Education Abroad Programs
In keeping with our commitment to student access and inclusion, we want to highlight the semester-long (fall or spring) education abroad programs that are approximately the same cost as (or less than) attending University Park for in-state students.
Our calculations include the total estimated cost of attendance listed on the Penn State Undergraduate Admissions website. The total cost of attendance includes tuition, housing, and meals for in-state students attending the University Park campus for one semester. Using this estimated cost, we identified over 30 education abroad programs that are approximately the same price as (or less than) attending the University Park campus as an in-state student for one semester.
As you review the education abroad programs on this page, please remember that expenses such as passports, airfare, books, course materials, supplies, and equipment, student visas, personal expenses, and other non-billable expenses were not included in our calculations. To find the estimated costs for each program, click on the program website and navigate to the “Costs and Funding” section.
