  • Are you a Pell Grant recipient and U.S. citizen who is planning to study and/or intern abroad? Attend this presentation and learn about the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, a federal scholarship that funds up to $5,000 toward a study abroad experience. This presentation will be facilitated by the University Fellowships Office and the Education Abroad Office and will cover scholarship eligibility requirements, provide an overview of the application process, and tips for preparing a strong application. A Gilman Scholarship application writing workshop will follow this presentation on Wednesday, February 5 at 5:00 pm in 410 Boucke. At the writing workshop, the University Fellowships Office will provide students the opportunity to have their scholarship application essays reviewed. Students who attend the writing workshop on February 5 are required to bring at least one printed copy of their Statement of Purpose and Follow-on Service Project Proposal for feedback and review.
