Education Abroad Fair

Each year, Penn State hosts exhibitors from over 50 different study abroad partners, support offices, scholarship sources, and academic colleges to bring students the information they want about education abroad!  Talk with representatives from universities and study centers abroad. Meet advisers from your college that know which courses and locations are best for your major. Talk to the Education Abroad Office staff about the 350+ study abroad programs and how to apply for scholarships. Learn about other support and resources, like going abroad with a disability or how we’re working to increase study abroad participation among students from underrepresented populations.

Study Abroad Week 2019

Join Global Programs and our partners during Study Abroad Week 2019 to learn all of the ways you can take your education overseas! Study Abroad Week 2019 will be held January 14-18 and features events throughout the week to give students a deeper understanding on all things study abroad. Since the summer and fall 2019 deadlines are quickly approaching – February 1 and March 1 respectively – this is the perfect opportunity to plan your xperience. From funding opportunities to career enrichment, you’ll be able to fully understand all of the opportunities that study abroad has to offer. With workshops and information sessions for all majors, you can begin planning for your perfect study abroad experience!

International Education Week

The Penn State joins various colleges, universities, embassies, and community organizations around the world by recognizing students at University Park from more than 140 countries. Penn State is also ranked 19th nationally for the number of students studying abroad.

We Are the World Weekend

Global Penn State, the International Student Council, and the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses are proud to announce We Are the World Weekend. This event will highlight international student’s cultures and contributions to Penn State, both at University Park and across the commonwealth. The weekend will feature performances, food, a formal, and a variety of other student support sessions. We encourage both international and domestic students to participate in the festivities!
