Emergency Preparedness Workshops

The Office of Global Programs offers Emergency Preparedness Workshops to cover insurance issues, emergency response protocols and University services for those planning to travel to an international destination. The workshops generally take one-hour.

There are separate sessions for those Leading, Supervising, or Chaperoning Groups and sessions for Group Participants and Individuals. Please find details as well as specific dates and times in the appropriate section.

All group participants in programs not for-credit and/or not administered through the Directorate of Education Abroad are required to attend the Student/Individual and Group Participant Emergency Preparedness Workshop. Participating students should be referred to Health, Safety, and Security Procedures.

  • Please plan your workshop attendance accordingly. We recommend that you complete a workshop at least 1-2 months in advance of your departure date.
  • Please contact the Global Safety Office if you have any questions.
