Emergency Preparedness Workshops
The Office of Global Programs offers Emergency Preparedness Workshops in one-hour sessions several times each semester to cover insurance issues, emergency response protocols and University services.
There are separate sessions for those Leading, Supervising, or Chaperoning Groups and sessions for Group Participants and Individuals. These live workshops are offered online (for commonwealth participants, faculty and staff) as well as in person except where indicated otherwise. University Park students are required to attend in person unless an accomodation has been authorized in advance. Please find details as well as specific dates and times in the appropriate section.
All group participants in programs not for-credit and/or not administered through the Directorate of Education Abroad are required to attend the Student/Individual and Group Participant Emergency Preparedness Workshop. Participating students should be referred to Health, Safety, and Security Procedures.
- Please be advised that prior registration is required and a minimum of 3 students to be signed up in order to be run. Registrations will not be accepted on the day the Workshop occurs.
- Please plan your workshop attendance accordingly. We recommend that you choose a workshop at least 1-2 months in advance of your departure date.
- Please contact the Global Safety Office if you have any questions.
