Penn State has arranged to provide faculty, students and staff with access to a database, called World Watch, which provides country background and demographic information. As a Penn State student, staff or faculty member you can sign in to World Watch for daily updates regarding security and health events, digital maps, a calendar of significant dates and information regarding transportation safety. World Watch is an excellent resource and it is recommended that you use it to research your travel destination prior to departure.
