Directions for Submission

Self nominations by students who believe they meet the stated eligibility criteria must complete the application with a brief statement of required qualifications and provide three letters of support from either faculty, staff, or community leader (not personal reference). Please note, if the student is being nominated, then only two letters of support are needed in addition to the nomination letter.

Send a detailed explanation (no more than 3 pages in pdf or word format) of the applicant's outstanding contributions to international understanding. This may consist of academic, athletic, or other extra-curricular campus activities and/or community involvement in school or civic group programs or service projects. Please note that international activities should have taken place at Penn State and that students must be enrolled for the current academic year in order to receive the award.

Three letters of recommendation/support from either faculty, staff, students or community leader (not personal reference) should be sent to
