International Student Advising (ISA) works with current international Penn State students and their dependents. We are part of the Directorate of International Students & Scholars Advising (DISSA) and we advise and assist international students, staff and faculty with regards to U.S. immigration matters and regulations.
International Students Advising works with over 7,000 students providing guidance and help for students on maintaining their immigration status while studying at Penn State. Although our office is physically located at the University Park Campus, we work with international students at all other 24 Penn State campus locations throughout the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The Directorate of International Student and Scholar Advising, which is the authorized representative for Penn State international students and scholars with the Departments of State and Homeland Security, is committed to providing international students and scholars the highest level of expertise in advising, immigration services, and training in support of Penn State's teaching, research and outreach objectives.
